The Bedrooms
Bedroom "Garden"
Garden, located on the ground floor, is a beautiful double bedroom, immersed in the atmosphere of the old Tuscan houses: stone walls, ceiling and terra cotta and wood furnishings of 19th century. The Garden Room, as its name says, opens into a small, delightful garden in which to organize a relaxing lunch or admire the stars, tasting a glass of Chianti wine. The room has a private bathroom with bathtub, shower and hairdryer.
Bedroom "Sky"
Sky, located on the second floor, is a double room with dreaming atmosphere, ceilings in terracotta bricks and wood and decorated with unique pieces of Italian craftsmanship. A soft curtain of white organza, applied above the bed of the beginning of the 19th century, will protect your dreams. The room has a loft, which can be used used as a study or reading corner. The adjoining bathroom, shared with the room Stars, has a shower and hairdryer.
Camera "Stars"
Stars, located on the second floor, is a large and poetic double bedroom. The large ceiling with tiles of terracotta and old wooden beams is interrupted by a window in the roof from which to admire the stars. The big bed from the 18th century welcomes your most beautiful dreams. The adjoining bathroom, common with the room Sky, has a shower and a hairdryer.
The Kitchen
It will be a pleasure to unleash your culinary creativity in the kitchen of The Dreaming House: it is a unique kitchen, completely hand-made with terracotta bricks and colourful hand painted tiles. The kitchen has all the comforts, the necessary equipment for cooking and all what you need to taste a delicious Tuscan meals in good company.
The Living Room
In the living room you will be able to follow satellite TV programs in major European languages. In winter the stone fireplace will welcome you for your moments of relax. The library is equipped with novels in English, German and Spanish. A large wooden table seating six will be the perfect place for pleasant evenings in company.
Services
- The whole house is equipped with a WI-FI connection for unlimited internet use included in the price
- Satellite TV allows you to follow the news and various programs in the original language
- The hairdryers, bed sheets and towels are available, so that you do not have to leave for vacation with heavy luggage
- A rechargeable cell phone is available, to be used for emergencies or to receive calls from abroad (it is very expensive to receive calls from abroad on a mobile non-Italian). The credit can also be recharged by guests in a tobacco shop before making longer phone calls abroad.
Extra Services
Breakfast - On request we can prepare every morning a delicious homemade Italian breakfast .
Cooking - For guests who wish to carry home a piece of Italian culinary culture, we organize weekend cooking courses of Umbria and Tuscan food. Together with an expert cook of traditional cuisine, we will prepare together the dishes that you can then enjoy for dinner. Some examples:” croutons “, bread, buns, noodles made in house and many other surprises. You will be surprised by the skill, the sympathy and generosity of Lella : every evening with her will remain for you an unforgettable memory of the Tuscan lifestyle.
Wine tasting - For a special evening we can arrange for you a tasting of a selection of Italian wines and typical products.
Surprises - If required, we can prepare for your arrival anything which can make your stay even more special: champagne, flowers, fresh fruit, desserts.
Food shopping - We can also do in advance the shopping of local food products for you, so that you do not have to immediately to go shopping or to the restaurant.
Reservations - Alternatively we can book a restaurant or a pizzeria for the first night. Please ask us in advance.
